Comprehensive Eye Exams:
An annual eye exam will not only keep your prescription up to date, assuring that you are seeing your best. Annual eye exams can also protect your eye health by detecting eye disease at an early stage. Eye conditions such as glaucoma and eye cancer often have no symptoms, which makes having an annual eye exam all the more important, even if you do not wear glasses or need corrective lenses. Our eye exam is rigorous and thorough.
State of the Art Technology:
We offer a very high-tech eye exam which includes "Optos" digital retinal exam.
We also have machines that can determine your prescription with 90% accuracy without you even having to say a word, which cuts down on the amount of time having to choose, "which looks better?" We also are one of few offices in Denver to offer the PediaVision child screening technology.
Contact Lens Fitting:
Contact lenses have come a long way and now include lenses that can correct astigmatism and even multi-focal contacts for those that need bifocals. Even if you have not been able to wear contacts in the past, you may be surprised at what is available now, even in you are only interested in "part-time" wear.
Medical Eye Treatment and Minor Procedures:
We treat many chronic eye diseases such as glaucoma and dry eye disease.
We also perform minor procedures such as "foreign body" removal & punctal plug insertion.
Additionally, we can treat "pink eye" and acute red eye problems. You do not need to go to your general physician for these conditions and in fact, you will likely receive a more accurate diagnosis of these conditions if you are seen by an eye care specialist.
Infant & Children Eye Exams:
As mentioned on the "Children's Page," children should receive an eye screening evaluation by the time they are one year old to ensure that the eyes are developing well. Failure to d this can result in "lazy eye" (amblyopia). To learn more, please see our "Children's Page."
LASIK Consultations:
All of our doctors are trained in LASIK pre-op & post-op care.
Dr. Hamilton had the special training of working in a prestigious laser center in Denver for 5 years doing LASIK consultations and post-LASIK care. Additionally, Dr. Hamilton has had LASIK on her own eyes.
