Outreach

Community Outreach is very important to the doctors and staff in our practice.

In Store Programs:

Throughout the year, our doctors and employees provide free eye care and new eye wear in our retail location to those in need.

All recipients are pre-selected by local charities based on visual and financial need.

We also collect and recycle used glasses in our retail location. These glasses will be cleaned up with new nose pads, the prescription will be verified and they will go across the globe to developing countries and distributed to those in need.

There is life in your old glasses! Please stop by and donate your old glasses.

Local Community Outreach:
We are honored to serve on the "One Sight" vision van when it is in town.

OneSight is an organization that is dedicated to helping the world see clearly.

One Sight organizes and performs approximately 20 domestic missions helping children in the United States receive eye exams and eye glasses.

The Vision Van is equipped with two eye exam lanes and a full lab, which allows the children to get an eye exam and walk away with their new eye glasses at the same time.

In 2010, OneSight has planned 20 Vision Van Clinics across North America with a goal of helping thousands of children see more clearly.

Global Outreach
Dr. Hamilton and Dr. Elmont have been fortunate enough to travel around the globe to developing countries and offer eye care and eye glasses to those in need. These missions will involve a group of roughly 25 people (8 of which are eye doctors). We will collect and take approximately 20,000 pair of donated eye glasses with us and will distribute theses glasses to roughly 15,000 - 20,000 people over 8 days of clinic. It is people like you who donate your old glasses that make this possible.
